Having a website design created by VermaDesign is a quick and simple process and we will guide you through each stage step-by-step and through your ideas and specifications combined with our knowledge and expertise, we will create a beautiful and functional website. The process can be broken down into six stages.
Initial meeting
This is typically a face-to-face meeting provided you are within a reasonable distance of our offices in Tolworth, Surrey. If you're from further afield we can offer a telephone or online meeting instead. Through this initial meeting, we will find out as much as we can about you and your website such as the purpose of the website, business industry and history, colour schemes, logos, photos, existing websites, design features and function. By getting a complete idea of what is to be created, we can provide the best solution whether it be a bespoke design or a template.
Quotation
Based on the information gathered, we'll then be able to give you an accurate quotation. The price is typically dependent on the amount of work required so the more pages you have and the more complex the website, the greater the cost will be. All our quotations include a complete summary of your requirements so you know exactly what you're getting. If you change your mind about what you require, let us know and we'll recalculate the quotation for you completely free.
Quote Acceptance
When you're happy to go ahead with our quote, simply sign and return a copy of the quotation along with payment for the first advance fee which is typically 25% of the development cost. Only once we have received a signed copy of the quotation and payment can we get to work on your new website. We strongly advise all our customers to confirm the specifications on the quotation are accurate and ensure they are familiar with our Terms & Conditions prior to accepting a quotation. The reason we ask this is because any amendments made after a quote has been accepted either may not be possible or may be subject to an amendment charge.
Layout Design
We will create a mock-up design for your approval based on the specifications provided so you can visualise precisely how the website will look. We are more than happy to make minor amendments such as changes to colours and minor layout adjustments to get the website looking just how you like provided it does not deviate from the original specification otherwise there may be additional charges. Once you have approved the design and are happy for us to proceed, a second advance fee will be payable which is usually another 25% of the development cost. At this stage, we must also have access to all necessary content and images required to build the website. Please note that we cannot proceed to the development stage until we are in receipt of all content and receive payment for the second advance fee.
Website Development
The development stage is where the website really starts to come together. We will work tirelessly to ensure your website is created exactly how you want and on time. During this web site development period, you will be able to preview the web site via our customer development area. This is a secure, password protected area available only to our clients and will not only give you an indication of progress but also how the final product will look. It allows you to provide us with feedback on an ongoing basis to ensure we create your perfect website.
Completion
The final step is publishing your website and making it viewable on the world wide web. The remaining balance (typically 50% of the development cost plus additional charges) is payable and we will then upload / transfer the entire site over to you. You'll need to arrange for a hosting company to manage your website once it's been created but don't fret as Verma Design can also provide web hosting. An additional service you should consider is our search engine optimisation package which helps make your website more visible in internet search engines and is a great way to maximise your website's exposure.
